About Chasing Grace

"Chasing Grace" is a new meta musical about a Writer chasing Broadway dreams with her musical, “Treatment,” a tale about Grace and other Black and brown women recovering from addiction at a residential treatment facility. Chasing Grace is inspired by writer Elizabeth Addison’s time in treatment and chasing her own Broadway dreams with her musical, "This is Treatment'. It's an immersive experience taking place in the mind and memory of both The Writer and  Grace. The musical explores identity, addiction, recovery, trauma, relationships, the weaponization of our dreams, healing and how learning to face our past and love ourselves can help us rewrite our own narrative and reclaim our dreams.
